Ground Work, for the horse or human?
Ground work is loosely defined as any training while not mounted on the horse. The focus can be to benefit either the horse or human, but when approached correctly it is certain that both partners will gain a better understanding of how the other thinks. For the human we most often think of archery practice, although any exercise that will improve timing, rhythm and balance should be included. For the horse we should consider any time in their presence as training.
